What services are offered?

We specialize in Short Term rehabilitation with Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapies and we offer long-term care for residents that require 24-hour care and assistance.

What is the visitation policy?

As many of you know, COVID has restricted visitations for many facilities, for the most up-to-date information, we urge you to call the facility directly at 864-878-4739 so we can give you the most accurate answer possible.

How often is my loved one getting therapy while there?

Therapy is offered 7 days per week. Our therapy department individualizes plans for each patient based on their needs and physical abilities.

What types of items should I bring to the facility for my family member?

We always suggest several comfortable outfits that they can freely move around in, a good pair of shoes for walking with therapy, and any other items that may make the patient feel more at home!

How will I know what’s going on with my family member while they are there?

Our goal is to keep you and the patient as involved in the care as possible! We have care plan meetings at certain intervals during the stay to keep you up to date on progress and well-being. We also encourage that you reach out to our nurses and social workers if you have any questions.

What insurances are accepted?

We accept Medicare and are in-network with many Medicare Advantage plans. We accept Commercial Insurance plans and are in-network with most of them. We also accept Medicaid and are in-network with most managed Medicaid plans. We also accept private pay.

What should I expect at discharge?

Our Social Services department will take most of the stress from you at discharge. We will set up Home Health Services if required, schedule follow-up appointments with outside physicians, assist with placement at another facility or Assisted Living Facility, work with medical equipment companies to ensure all equipment is delivered to the home, and work with Meals on Wheels for services if needed.

Can my loved one receive mail?

Mail is delivered to residents personally on a daily basis except for weekends and holidays.

Consider using our Send a Greeting feature on the website. You can choose from a variety of postcards to fill out and mail to your loved one for a small fee or you may type a message and through email, send us your email greeting that we will hand-deliver to your loved one residing in our facility. Our email feature is free of charge.

How do you protect patients, staff, and visitors from COVID-19 and other infectious diseases?

Our team is highly trained and experienced in caring for high-acuity patients and infectious diseases like COVID-19. Our dedicated infection prevention nurse helps ensure we follow current infection prevention guidelines and best practices. This includes educating all staff about the appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as N95 masks, surgical masks, gloves, and gowns and when to use COVID-19 protocols required by local department of public health and/or the CDC.
